John Curtis Seddon – A loving husband to his wife Joan. A loving father to his 3 children Tracy, Sharon and John and a top granddad to his much loved grandchildren.
John was a hard working and deveoted family man who continued to work right up until he physically couldn't. This gives you an indication of how much he loved and worked for his family if he could put in such dedication to his job – of which he was extremely successful and well respected.
John was a real family man; he loved going on his holidays with the family and he was always “up for a pint” – which was often followed with a Remy Martin chaser!
He always had time to chat and laugh and was never happier than when he was sharing time with the people he loved.
John loved to play golf when he got the chance and we are certain if he was physically able enough he would have joined Bunkers Golf Society. He would have fitted perfectly into the group and would certainly have been a well loved member who people would have warmed to quickly and enjoyed spending a walk on the course with. A round of golf followed by a pint and sprinkled with a good laugh would have been right up his aisle.
We are 100% certain that John will be looking down on us and would be very touched by “our society” for dedicating this day to him. Equally I'm certain he would say “no fuss please, just have fun and get the bar afterwards”.
Therefore, we have donated this wonderful trophy [above] as permanent celebration of his short but well lived life and we hope you can all join us in making this a superb day to remember a vital part of our family who is sadly no longer with us.
Gone too soon and forever in our hearts and memories.
Scott & Stuart Seddon.
